HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

There are three fathers in my life that I have to thank for so much. Each in a different way. One was a true father to me. One is a father to the most important person to me under age 21. One is incredibly special to me and an inspiration to me. I am thankful for all these fathers today.

I pray that you all enjoy your day being honored for the work you have done and do daily as dads.

YES, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Hi, All! It has been a while since I've blogged. But, for good reason. We have been so incredibly busy at Andria Lewis Events! We have weddings coming up and several new brides for 2009 that we have begun working with. It's going to be a great year and we are truly excited about it.

I have wanted to blog about the whole discount wedding planner phenomena. There are so many fly-by-night planners floating around it's not even funny. What I do is not a hobby. It's not something I play around with. I take my job and my clients very seriously. I also don't take for granted that they have chosen me and my team to help make their day wonderful and unique.

The wonderful, beautiful Isis of Posh Events wrote a great article on this subject recently. I will link to it here because I totally agree with what she says. I will plan to do a personal take on this subject in the future.

GOLF, ANYONE?

I will be in the office on a limited basis this week (June 2-June 6). I have the wonderful opportunity to work with the Stanford St. Jude Championship. I will also celebrate my birthday on Wednesday. Wow, my 40s are creeping up on me!
