STAY TUNED FOR WEBSITE UPDATES

Hello, All! For the next few days, while we make some aesthetic changes, we will have our website redirected to our blog. The revised site will debut Thursday, December 1, 2011. When the website is ready we will debut subtle changes along with our new pricing structure. In the meantime, enjoy reading our past blog posts and visit our Facebook page and see some of our more current work.

We are also experiencing technical issues with our email addresses. We have GoDaddy on the job and will have it taken care of soon.

Happy Planning!

IS WHAT YOU SEE, WHAT YOU GET?

At Andria Lewis Events, when it comes to our couples, we are very them focused. From the moment they hit the send button to submit an inquiry, they are our client. That is how we operate. The experience our couples have with us each moment during their planning period is telling to how we will perform on their wedding day.

I want to encourage all wedding vendors to adopt this policy. Not only with the couples, but with your fellow vendors. As the wedding planners, we are the overseer of all aspects of the wedding. We know from Day 1 who will exceed our expectations and who will treat us less importantly because we are not the highest dollar event they have on their books. Because our clients understand our position of being able to see the entire picture and not just a segmented view, they trust our judgment and our opinion. If a vendor gives the planner a bad feeling because they have not performed to par during the quote and contract process, we do pass that along to our clients. Because, in the end, the wedding day is about them and not about any of us.

We have had clients to switch vendors during the process because of that vendor's lack of access and/or their slowness to respond to messages and requests. Vendors, our clients feel icky sometimes but do not want to rock the boat. But, when they have a planner they can count on, they will ask us what they should do. And we will suggest. If no contract has been signed, we will choose another vendor alltogether.

I am not saying that wedding planners are the Wielders of the Power. No. I am saying, please take an interest in your clients.
