TAKE YOUR TIME

So often I receive emails from vendors with my name spelled AndrEa. When, clearly, in any correspondence I am sure I spelled my name correctly as AndrIa. As wedding vendors, we are responsible for every little detail of a couple's wedding day. Sometimes we need to take an extra 24 hours (but not 24 days) to look over our quotes and contracts to make sure we have included any aspect the client has requested as well as any additional pieces they may not think of. After all, are not we the 'experts'?

The challenge for 2010 to all wedding vendors is simple ::

1. Take your time when creating your quotes and contracts. Be sure to include all elements plus a few extras your clients may need/want.
2. Take your time and say hello at the beginning of your email. Do not rush into 'Hey, this is your quote.' A quick, but simple, 'Hi, John! I do hope you enjoyed your weekend.' will make a great difference in the overall tone of your correspondence.
3. Take your time and look outside of your box and actually consider doing something new and different this year. The emergence of technology and its rapid growth has put us all in a posture of expectation of being able to get what we ask for. Even if we cannot get it, we ask and we expect to be listened to. Our clients deserve the same treatment.

We are heavily customer-focused and intend to grow that focus in 2010. Join us!
